Ideas for Curios
If anything most Curios found at the Weald would be good at the Mountains, but a select few Curios found at the Warrens would also be good at the Mountains. Honestly though, we should expand the Mountains adding dead explorers, dead animals, ancient shrines, and even bandit stashes. Some of these things would have obvious things you would use. Dead explorers would required medicinal-salves or shovel to search safely, dead animals would be antivenom or medicinal-salves, ancient shrines would likely use holywater, and bandit stashes would use either keys or shovels. It would be normal for bandits to trap their stashes from rival bandit gangs, so don't be surprised to be bleeding or blighted if a trap goes off using searching the stash without a tool. Ancient Shrines to good faiths would offer a stronger bonus to those who use holy water, and evil shrine to evil entities would cause sufferring to a hero blessing them with holy water, which is what happens at the Warrens and Cove, where you have to choose carefully whether to use holy water or not based on the religious curio.
If you can suggest how these will look, as well as provide art, it would be even more helpful!

Frozen Mushroom

Flavor Text - "One of the local mushrooms that mutated in the unnatural cold. Many a would-be alchemist sought these rare ingredients, but met their untimely demise to the horrors of the mountain. Maybe it can be of use to you?"

Use a Shovel to get a 'Frozen Mushroom Cap' worth 1500 and stacks to 5. "You collect the specimen!"
Use a Torch to get a heal "A Delicious Gourmet Ingredient!"
Use The Blood to get Crimson Curse "The Mushroom emits a powerful red vapour!"


Touch %10 Chance to get a 'Frozen Mushroom Cap' "You collect the specimen!"
Touch %20 Chance to get an Attack and Speed Debuff "Your hand becomes frozen!"
Touch %30 Chance to get Blighted "Poison awaits under the blue exterior!"

Not bad ideas. Shovel could get you a rare treasure item.
Torch effect doesn't make sense, the torch is normally used to burn and thus destroy things. Plus, a torch wouldn't be good at cooking something on its own... but I must admit, if burned, the mushroom could do most anything, included being cooked up, but also combusting releasing toxic spore or even a dangerous powder.
The Blood effect makes sense since the Blood can give the affliction to not only people, but both animal and plant life, so it should work on fungus too.

Fair enough. Maybe it burning attracts some animal enemies (if some are added)? Or maybe "The thawed exterior is somewhat edible!" and you could get some food?

Here's an idea for an environmental hazard:

A slope, or sidepath, billowing with a conceiling mist, or snowstorm that promises to be a shortcut, with a chance to displace the party to a random part of the dungeon, otherwise with a low chance of leading to a secret room, or more conventionally letting you skip over the following room, placing you at the start of the next corridor.

A torch should let you guarantee the skip.

The idea here is to give you a choice, should you be in a pinch and not want to encounter what's in the next room, basically just giving the player more option to make more meaningful decisions, if such a thing is codeable.

A frozen corpse or body would be intresting like how mount everest has dead climbers as landmarks up at the top but it might be to close to the mummy body in the weald,

Here's my idea for a frozen corpse curio also a ememy idea

Appears only in corridors
Count as Body, Haunted, Unholy
Description "One of the many frozen corpses that litter this once great mountain"

without useing a item on it
100% - "seems like this corpse still hold some loot" - Any Loot

100% - "What kind of person defiles the dead" - Negative Quirk: Guilty Conscience

Holy water
%70 - "The frozen corpse reacts violently to holy water" - Ambush by 3 or 2 Wights
%30 - "Frozen corpse eyes glowed a sickly blue" - +20 stress

Torch
%70 - "The riches glow under the Torch light" - X2 Gold/Gems
%10 - "Seems theres nothing gain from this corpse"- Nothing
%20 - "The warmth of the torch reanimate corpse" - Ambush by 3 or 2 Wight

a wooden cross, you see this often in mountain region.
saint statues that should bring luck to travelers.
frozen relikt.
maybe just the simple snow pile?

but at the end all should fit together in one theme. it all depends on your creative decission you make. like monsters, curios, traps etc. should fit together perfectly, otherwise the game experience will suffer...

That sounds brilliant! Though I must admit, it would take a ton of work to code. However, I'm quite certain its possible to do.

Good ideas, indeed, this should fit together with the Mountain theme, which is not only in the wilderness in nature, but is also at location that would be traveled to for religious purposes as well as trade, and being isolated and cold.

If anything, I thought the corpses in the Weald could be re-used in the Mountains. That is what was done by the makers of this mod. However, reskinning the corpse Curio to be blues and whites, and frozen, is an easy task.

These are good ideas. The final idea reminds me of how there is the Curio were if you used a torch and it summons an Eldrictch mini-boss that drops rare and unique trinkets.

If the idea of instead of a light meter there being a heatmeter, then maybe for a lot of curio interaction ppl are cooking up, that regard de-frosting something, there should be an option on the provision screen to purchase firewood and use this, instead of a torch.

This would make more sense, but similarly use of firewood would need to be conserved to stay warm and thus not be abusable, to make it through the whole dungeon.

Thus making the decision to spent firewood for a curio is much more meaningful, since it's shortterm/longterm reward vs survivability.

Rations should also be scarce to find in the mountains, this may proove to require a lot of finetuning and such a curio, giving additional rations should be considered a god-sent, imo, not reward whole stacks, but small parcels of rations.

There could be something like an exposed ore vein, considering it is a mountain

"A lump of sharpened exposed stone, one of many on the mountainside. It glitters in the moonlight."

Without useing an item:
50% - "You cut your hand on the sharpened rocks!" - 15% HP damage, or maybe just a bleed
25% - "Just an ordinary stone." - nothing
25% - "You loosen and collect a few chunks of gems!" - 1 Gem

Shovel:
100% - "You shatter the stone to reveal the riches inside!" 3-4 Gems

Bandage:
100% - "The bandage protects your hands, allowing easier excavation!" 1-2 Gem(s)

Im trying to think of other items you would use on it, but i cant.

Easy idea for a trap or the blockages on the mountain would be that an avalanche has blocked the path. Actual traps could be a rigged mini avalanche, or possibly a hidden beartrap under the snow, which gives a nice big bleed and a huge speed debuff.
