A mountaineers journal - Part 1
*Part of the paper has been ripped to shreds, but luckily not all of it*
...Harrison came back shivering and holding nothing but a bloody scarf, Andric's scarf.
Took quite a while for me and the others to calm him down..he was completely terrified and kept screaming ''They are coming, the wendigo is coming''. eventually we managed to calm him down (Thanks to a few slaps of course) and he started rambling on about how he and andric were assaulted out of nowhere by a wendigo of all things...
Now! i may not be as educated like some of those folks down at the hamlet but i do know one thing: Wendigo's and all those other stories AREN'T REAL! Poor bastard must've gone mad from whatever happened down there, but whatever it is. I know for sure it ain't one of those fables

Part 2
....Sadly enough we had to send Harrison down to the sanitarium today... he was not himself after he came back home that one night. He just kept screaming and rambling on about ''The shamans are coming to get us'' and ''He ate him, ate him whole''. And even thoug this was unfortunate enough, one mystery still remains: What the HECK happened that night? They just went into the forest to hunt and collect some wood but somehow Andric ends up killed and Harrison ends up mad. We where thinking about going down there ourselves tomorrownight to look for answers or possible clues...

Part 3
...lood was everywhere! the snow was as red as my scarf and all that was left of andric was his gun. it was clear that whatever did this was no ordinary wolf, and not even a BEAR!
I still don't believe Harrison but i can tell you: his rambling becomes a lot more believable when you see what we saw! well whatever it was..it better not come after us

Part 4
*The page is covered in blood but you can make out a few words scrabbled on the bottom*
everyone is dead...Tyrin..Caldric..and heck, soon i will join them...
damn thing ripped out his Tyrin's guts with a single swipe...Caldric stood no chance either and as much as i tried, neither was i...
Harrison was right. This mountain is cursed. and if anyone finds this...Get the hell out o...

Sorry for any bad english grammar since it's not my native language but hopefully you get the general story i'm trying to tell

Botanist's Handbook - 2 pages
"The berries I collected a few days ago differ greatly from these. The color is different. A deep red on the newly picked ones. The taste is also different. Sweeter, to be precise. The folks at the mining village, westwards from my shack, either do not notice or do not mind. Still, these variations worry me greatly, and the fact that they're appearing now seems almost too convenient. The bushes seem to be growing pale, the leaves and the branches. As unbelievable as it sounds, even to me, they look more like bones than they do branches. It's possible that those creatures may be meddling with the flora in some manner, perhaps they tainted it with their pagan magics, in which case, I should prepare myself for the worst. The villagers must also be warned before it's too late, which might already be."

"The villagers, if I can still call them that, don't seem to recall the location of my shack, which means I'll be safe as long as I don't get too close to the mines. Still, even if the villagers can't find me, the monstrosities might. The pale bushes seem to be all over the mountain now. I hope none from the estate at the foot of the mountain think of ever coming here. And even if they do, I hope the beasts chase them away before they pick any of the berries. A bite from those accursed things is enough, which makes me wonder how many of them did the most bloated villagers eat. I'm also curious about what do the creatures do with those that grow too bloated to be of service to them, although something tells me I'm better off not knowing. Once the blizzard dies down, I have to try and reach the estate. To keep both them and myself safe."

If this seems interesting enough, I'd appreciate if y'all hit me up. I wouldn't want to fill the thread that may not make sense in the mod's setting.
