Stats Discussion
So, I thoght that it could be an interesting idea to have a kind of "anti" direct-hit

The stats intended for this weapon are:
20% slower proyectiles
only 1 rocket on clip
no random crits
x2 reload time
x2 blast radius

you'd be able to build a crit rocket with damage dealt, but once it's fired you won't be able to attack and you'll be marked for death untill the crit boost is over.

This weapon is suposed to be used in conjuction with a shotgun adding great gameplay posibilities.

What do you guys think?

(+) +60% chance of rAnDOm CriTICal HITs
(-) -40% blast radius
(-) -50% primary ammo on wearer
(-) -30% move speed while zoomed in

on alt-fire; zoom in (like a sniper rifle scope)

Those are some interesting stats. Sadly I dont think they go with this weapon, since the thing sticking out of it's right side is a 50mm spoting rifle, and not a scope. Also the point of it being nuclear is to have increased blast radius.

I'm a still fan of your idea tho.
150% increased blast radius
75% damage bonus
On hit: blankets an area in fallout that drains 5% of their remaining health and 5% of their reserve ammo per second for 5 seconds
75% clip size penalty
50% slower reload
40% projectile speed penalty

Basically, 100% more damage, 200% larger blast radius, 1 shot with no ammo replenishment via cabinet, but has a 30 second cooldown.

What about some kind of radiation damage for a few seconds, since it's nuclear?

But I guess that that would be overpowered if it didn't also have a damage reduction.
Why does it look like it has a smaller cannon the side of it?

Because it was inspired by the davy crockett rocket launcher, which has a 37mm spotting rifle attached to its front part.

how about a sort of "fat-man" esq weapon from fallout, with lingering radiation in the wake of its blast radius.

stats:

+30% blast raius

+20% dmg

-75% loaded ammo

alt fire launches a non damaging flak thing that can explode the bomb in the air. (this is just an idea it doesn't have to be on the weapon it's just a cool idea)

radiation lingers in the blast radius for 2-5 seconds and is show as a green puddle or something.
anyone stepping in radiation is irradiated for a few seconds and takes a total of 25-50 dmg over 4-10 seconds

that seems like good stats to me, if you have any suggestions let me know.

I really like that radiation thing, there are no actual weapons on tf2 that do AOE damage over time, it could make it a really unique weapon.

Having one rocket would inevitably be underpowered. The use of a "Special Attack" is interesting, but the way to implement it should probably not be a Meter- the banners use a Meter already, on Soldier it's kinda reserved for those.

i didnt think it should be a meter, i was thinking of a more colldown esq thing like with demo's shields. also with the 1 rocket thing i meant like a really small clip.

i didnt think it should be a meter, i was thinking of a more colldown esq thing like with demo's shields. also with the 1 rocket thing i meant like a really small clip.

The entire constract screems "No", pretty much.

it wouldn't be as fast as demos shield. maybe like 1-1.5 min wait time. also no getting it from the respawn cabinet. this would be powerfull especially with an uber so it needs to be at least half as rare as an uber.

It's still Broken no matter the wait time. It can be underpowered and Broken, but it's still Broken.
