Unfortunately, not really. To authenticate with Spotify I would need to run a local server of some sort to do the authentication/token handling. I would either have to bundle that with the wallpaper, and the user would have to execute that manually, or supply it as an additional download asset, which would work like a modular plugin.

I'd rather not step into that territory, since I would not like to encourage users to download any external tools with their wallpapers in Wallpaper Engine. Since that would open the possibility for other malicious developers to encourage users to download malicious software with their wallpapers.

That's also part of the reason why I'd just like it to be a simple HTML based wallpaper - no risk whatsoever :)
