when i go into the mech part crafting table, the game crashes to the main menu with an error message reading "Exception caught in client main-loop (ItemException) No such item 'mechbodyddomlord'". im guessing its the doomlord body lol

hey also how did you find the crashlog-- it would help me so much to just access those when i'm working on mods.

Is it incompatible with other mech mods? I would LOVE to know, since I had to uninstall some mech mods just so that I can use this one.
Well, depends on the mod honestly. If you were to give me the contents of your starbound.log file after it crashes I could help figure out the bugs.

Okay, I'll put them here just incase.
No only do it if it has just crashed otherwise the data is useless.

No, I meant like... I'll put the crash data here, not like the whole thing. I'm gonna test it now with the 3 mods I uninstalled and hope it doesn't crash.
Ah.
It should only count as a crash if the game closes itself on the loading screen, but you probably already know that.

It works, thank you! I thought my Starbound would be lost forever, thank goodness the mods didn't break the files or the game itself. Thank you!

You see, mods never touch your save files. If data becomes unusable it's entirely your fault for not preparing for it. (Also if you uninstall a race mod without deleting your characters of that race, when you re-install the mod they come back)

I understand now, since I recently bought the game. Thank you for your help.
Oh, if thats the case, make sure that you read the descriptions carefully and also mods mostly only conflict if they have 2 things with the same name mostly. or if they modify things without using the .patch format

EDIT: nvm :U [/quote]
No no no this isn't spamming. this is just me giving you general knowledge about mods and what you should watch out for. If you need me to check a crash log, I'll be more than happy to do so.
