Hello everyone, this is just a quick heads up for all subscribers to this pack, some things will be changing over the next month or so, depending on a couple of things. If you want to be kept up to date on my work then you can take a look at my blog.[chrisbrowne3d.blogspot.co.uk] I am currently working on a new vehicle and once it's completed I shall be adding an interior to the Dodge Charger. There are other changes that I am thinking about but it kind of depends on how much I feel I can get done before GTA V comes out for PC and whether I can get around some bugs in Gmod.

I normally wouldn't ask you guys to do this but I feel that I need some help here, basically one of the main reasons I've not updated this pack in so long is because of a long standing bug in Gmod which makes it very difficult to get vehicle handling right, these are called Surface properties. The TLDR is that they allow me to add more grip to vehicle's tires but the system in Gmod is broken, I have explained the problem in more detail here.[facepunch.com] If you happen to have a facepunch forums account could you help bump the thread to maybe get this bug noticed so that there is at least a chance it may get fixed. It basically will make it much easier to update my pack and could potntially help a lot of other vehicle makers on the workshop make their vehicles even better to drive.

I am also considering splitting my pack into a few separate packs, I'm hitting a file size limit on how big this pack can be and so I need to find a way to reduce that, the best way is to split the pack into individual vehicles. There are other things I can do like compress certain textures but even this won't give me enough space to add more than a couple of new vehicles.

However splitting the pack brings a few pitfalls which I will be discussing in my blog post on Monday or Tuesday. The main problem is making sure everyone knows about the change and knows to subscribe to the new packs which is why i'm considering leaving this pack up as a legacy pack so that anyone who doesn't know about the change doesn't get left high and dry. Alternatively I may turn this pack into the 'Base' pack which you will all need to download in order to use the smaller individual vehicle packs, this is still something i'm considering but I haven't worked out the best method yet.
