Hello everyone!

While this mod is a fantastic addition to Darkest Dungeon, I see that some of you ended up encountering a rather troublesome bug when fighting against the damsel.

For those of you who ended up getting locked into combat due to the damsel dying off to bleed / blight damage, there is a way to fix it.

Make sure the game is NOT running.

First, you will need to get the Darkest Dungeon Save Editor program created by robojumper:

Click on "Download here" - Get the latest version of the save editor

Open the program and designate the save file location for the program to look into (It should be in the folder "steam/userdata/<a number>/262060/remote")

If you have multiple save files it should contain multiple files labeled "Profile_0,1,2,3" or other number associated to your save file.

Side Note: Always back up your save before using the editor / Changing the wrong value can seriously mess your save file up!

Make sure to verify that it is looking into the proper save file that you are trying to fix.

Then click on the tab "persist.raid.json" - You will see a lot of information here but you are looking for one specific section so don't get intimated by all them numbers.

The "persist.raid.json" contains all the info regarding the fight YOU are currently in.

Just scroll around and look for any text that associates the code with the damsel and you will find a section titled "current health".

Increase that number to something like 50 so that damsel can survive the fight.

Make sure to click on "Save all changes" on the bottom right of the program / Turn on the game afterwards.

It should load fine and Damsel should survive the fight, allowing you to continue the quest.
