Suggestion:
Pros
  • On backstab, loot Wine
  • Alt fire to consume a Wine bottle (1-2 second taunt of Spy opening the bottle and drinking it), filling your health completly as well as your cloak). This isn't a powerful ability, as you need to find a safe spot to drink anyways, which often will be possible with a healthpack
Cons
  • Hangover- upon spawning with this weapon (even when you switch to it in the cabinet), -10% movement speed for 5 seconds

Not the best, but hey it's a cool concept.

Pro
•On back stab fill wine meter (4 stabs to fill meter completely)
•alt fire. Player speed increases for 10 seconds (same speed as when boosted by conch, does not stack)
No cool down on melee swing
Absorb half of players health on successful backstab(no over heal)
Con
•-15 health on player when equipped
•3 second cool down on melee swing after successful back stab(does not inhibit from switching weapons)
•hangover -20%movement speed for 5 seconds after alt fire has worn off

4 backstabs for an ability means this ability will rarely be useful outside of a pub against extra nooby players. -15 HP is a big big downside.

Definitely underpowered.

is there a mod for this item
Pros:
+On backstab, gain a "Wine" counter (Up to a maximum of 5)
+Special Attack activates a Wine counter, making a popping noise and granting a 25% speed boost and 50% faster cloak recharge for the duration (8 second duration)

Cons:
-Using a Wine counter temporarily strips Spy of melee for the duration of the effect (due to using the Corkscrew instead of the knife - can still use Sapper, Revolver, or Disguise Kit during the effects and will force Spy to the Sapper or Revolver depending on what he used last)
-15% faster cloak drain (passive - effect is active even when the knife is pocketed)

It's kinda like the Big Earner in a way, but with the ability to carry the speed boost and cloak recharge around for when you really need it most.

What if the alt fire shot a cork that would jam your enemies projectile/hitscan weapon temporarily. idk about a con though

You are missing a downside...

I thought that the knife being unavailable whenever you use it was a good downside, but...

Cons:
-15% faster cloak drain

An ability with a downside for when you use it just let's the Spy decide whether he uses it, it's bound to either be the same as Stock or better.

Looks decent! This is a small fitting downside. Good job. You should edit your original suggestion to include it.

The Swiss Sommelier

Pros:
  • Upon a successful kill (knife or revolver), your target will drop a bottle of red "wine", which can be used to charge your "wine" meter, or act as a small health kit for your allies. (takes two "wine" bottles to charge, and can hold a max of four bottles, which is two charges. You can not pick up "wine" if you're at max charge)
  • On use (special attack), you gain a temporary movement speed, health leech, and jump height bonus for 5 seconds. (Conch speed effect, +25% jump height, +25 health on kill and can overheal)

Cons:
  • -25 max health
  • On death: drop a small health kit
  • 50% decreased cloak meter rechage rate
  • 35% increased cloak drain speed

This knfie relies more on disguises and playing safe, rather than being aggressive with your invis watch.
The Swiss Sommelier allows you to trick stab without having to be on the high ground. This can also be used to escape certain situations.
Huge chain stabbing potential.

Can not spam dead ringer as much, but also penalizes invis watch users. L'etranger will most lilkely be the best choice while running this weapon.
Dying (which is usually behind enemy lines) will drop a small health kit. Feign death will still drop a small health kit, but you can not pick it up. You will not drop a health kit by simply taking environmental damage, unless you actually died.

Only you and other Swiss Sommelier Spy's can see "wine" bottles, while everybody else will see small health kits.

It wouldn't be with 5 stats or less but I think the idea is interesting.
Since it's a Swiss Army Knife and those have a lot of functions, have the knife do what all the other Spy knifes do just not as well.
