If you want a tip, use Lymantria. Their moth clouds greatly speed up passive taming: because they don't do any damage if they're used from a distance and not point blank range, yet drain the food of passive tame creatures. Learned this myself, and its a godsend on all passive tames: vanilla and modded.
should work on ryu too no problem. Just be aware i'm patching this out in the future!
So for example if their food is 80,000 they will be hungry at 72,000 and lets say the kings feast raises food to 72,500 then it will want to eat again when food drops back down to 72,000.
