Crashing loops
Hi, i'm sorry for the annoyance, but i'm having a really big error on my game.

since very recently (like from 2 days ago) i started having crashes nonstop whenever i get close to certain creatures of this mod, making like 300 meters being blocked by each creature. i realized that, they also for some reason spawn just like bugged lystrosaurus spawns, and when i get close i get a guaranteed crash.

i tried uninstalling all mods and installing them again, turning the stasis on and off, moving the load order, resetting the dino count on the map to 1.0 (i moved it to 2.0 for more creatures in the map), blocking the spawns of the creatures that spawn bugged, verifying the files integrity and nothing worked. the only things that i haven't tried are playing with this mod only and uninstalling and installing the game.

the creatures i've been able to find bugged are: wild wraith, ironwood ent, ydggrasil( only one, but always one ydggrasil crashes the game when i get close). there are many more that i can't find yet with the dino finder mod and just crash my game regardless.

the only thing that works is not using the mod for now.

i'm playing on singleplayer, by the way.

I recently had an issue like this with certain creatures, and I used game.ini edits to turn them off from spawning. That seems to be a fix for now!

i don't know anything about ini spawners, sorry. i think the "spawn blocker" mod should do the same though.

I didn’t touch spawners, all I did was use the NPC replacement to turn things “off”. Like this:

NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="shadcarcha_character_bp_c",ToClassName="")
NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="shadcarcha_character_bp_alpha_c",ToClassName="")

If you change the spawn code for what your problem characters are (aka in the quotes after “FromClassName”) to whatever creature is causing crash, they’ll disappear on a dino wipe, won’t respawn, and you’ve got a bandaid until maybe an update fixes something!

I think i fixed it for now. it was the undeads and only those, just like the problem you had, if i remember correctly.

i will try your solution with ini if this doesn't work anymore, ¿but can you leave me the ini config you made to make undeads not spawn anymore? it's ok if you don't want to.

thanks a lot still, i really didn't have any hair left to pull because of this bug.

I'll be running some field tests soon after the next round of updates for folks to help me see if they can help figure out which specific undeads are crashing. Worst comes to worse I can just remake the bastards, which I'll do, but I'd like to know specifically who's crashing and who isn't first.

the wraiths, the fallen, the withered and krasue cause a guaranteed crash for me. for some reason, the withered and krasue from the lich don't.

also, i was wrong earlier with the ironwood ent and yddgrasil. i'm sure i was confusig those 2 with the undeads i mentioned now, because i actually got close to these ents and yddgrasil.
