Exactly where do I add the file and is there anyway that you can add it to the official workshop file so that everyone subscribed to this map gets the update? (I don't like guiding lots of people through the exact same process)

Firstly I don't really have much experience and knowledge in serverhosting but I'll try to help. I think the issue from the first question is covered here(in sections exporting, testing in TTT):

I'm afraid it is impossible to put arming file in workshop.

If I knew this would cause so many problems I would've put weapons myself in hammer editor, unfortunatelly I can't do it right now though since I lost all the custom files and textures used in this map.

On the other hand I will be releasing smaller version of this map really soon(on monday or tuesday) with weapons already added to it. I don't know how big your server is but I think it will still be OK in terms of capacity.

So you can wait for new map and see if it's fine or try to fix this old one:)
