since early 2025 for some objects, the + sign will randomly disappear making them impossible to edit. it rarely happens for me so it's hard to tell what is causing it, but most of the time it's from pasting a group of POs onto the map (often on overpasses or truss gantries). i think this was why people are saying the mod's broken when it works 95% of the time, but it's still annoying that some of my POs bug out randomly.
