The Demoman may have laced them with more of a "bang", so these things will explode than just pop. However it could be minor rocket-jump damage to either both parties or just opponents who accept the taunt.

There is more, both players will have a message appear on the screen telling a cheap festive joke and 50% chance of a flimsy paper crown.
