Potential Stats. (Feedback Welcome)
Pros:
Sentries Gain +20 Health
Sentries Build Cost Reduced to 100
Increases Range Of Sentry by 20%
Decreases Redeploy Time By 30%
Sentries Take 15% Less Damage From Explosives
Cons:
Sentry Upgrade Cost Increased By 25%
Sentry Fires 2 Rockets At Level 3 Instead Of 4
Sentry Build Time Increased By 25%
- 30% Ammo Refill And Repair From All Sources
- 10% Build Boots On Wrench Hit
- 20 Max Health To Engineer

Replaces Regular Sentries With Artillery Sentry
Not Compatible With The Gunslinger

i think of this as bigger gun smaller rocket, also a sentry with a bigger detection range is OP:

+is capable of doing headshot damage (sentry starts aiming for the head)

+25% base damage
-20% reffil ammo cost
-20% rate of fire
-50% explosive damage
-10% turn speed

Here's my take on trying to make the stats:

Pros:

+15% further sentry gun range
+Bullets do 20% more damage
+Sentry gun gains 90 health, adding up to 300
+increases rocket damage by 10%
+Shoots explosive shells rather than bullets


Cons:

-20% slower wrench swing speed on wearer
-Not compatible with the Wrangler
-Rockets travel in an arc
-Sentry is more sensitive to sappers, so the speed it gets destroyed by sappers is increased by 20%

1. Increased sentry range is kind of OP because it will cover more area in it's "bubble"
2. Bullet damage AND splash on bullets is too much, maybe splash can be an MVM upgrade
My edit:
1. It is artillery so it should deal increased (mini-crit?) damage to airborne targets
2. Only 2 rockets that deal increased dmg/knockback
3. Increased metal cost to build AND upgrade.

How about a sentry which specialized in rockets? Which doesn't any fire bullets.
Like the first level is equivalent to the rocket launcher's stats of a third level, and on second level there is a fire speed and/or reload increase similar to the second level like 25-50 percent and on a third level will be a splash radius increase. And to make this turret more reliable ,the damage will depend on a distance between the target and the sentry.
Hp progression will be the same as a normal sentry, will cost the same and have the same hitbox or slightly bigger or slightly smaller if it doesn't fit the model.
Sorry for going radical on this idea, but the "The Artillery Sentry" to me kinda implies, you know, a bunch of rockets and it might not suit the model but I had to spit it out.
