When I was playing hosokwa and loaded the game my country was much weaker and had half the army limit and 20k manpower and less gold

That's not really a bug - we've intentionally downscaled the starting size of the army so larger powers won't have such an immediate advantage.

Ah, yes, just took note to look into that; we don't yet have a fallback for ships when the player doesn't have mandate of heaven

Not sure if this quite counts as a bug but the game seems to crash when I try running it with this mod. By that I mean it launches and simply crashes when the loading screen appears.

Something is wrong somewhere, clearly; can you send your error.log and exception.log files when it crashes? post them on pastebin and link them here, or upload them to our discord

Is it actually supposed to only show names of german, italian and other provinces all over japan?

@Mad Sweeney: no, not at all; check that you aren't using any other mods that are changing the default map's province names.

I didn't. Might it be because I play the german version of the game? Any guesses about this causing problems?

Perhaps because it's German - we only have English localization.
