What else should be included in rp_stateline?
Any thoughts? I think it should include a system of caves, a sewear, some homemade fallout shelters like the ones from the 1950s, and a farm.

I also think adding campsites and abandoned military outposts in the more open empty areas would make the map a lot more interesting

Yup. I'll be adding the AI Nodes relatively soon. Shouldn't take long. (Inb4 Valve Time)

The cave system will be expanded in the future. The main reason I didn't release it with a more comprehensive layout is because displacements are rather annoying to work with. Either way, it'll be expanded in the future. (Unless you weren't aware of the cave system... in which case... nvm there's no caves. :P)

The current objectives right now for map expansion will probably be the opening of several existing buildings and rooms. Beyond that, I'll try to fill in those fields with at least something. As of right now though I am running into issues with how much the Source Engine can handle in a single open area, so I'm working on some solutions to that issue. I might even need to drop the viewdistance a bit more.

Beyond that though, there's two more areas that I was thinking of developing: a stream with several vertical paths and difficult terrain, and maybe a forest with the odd shack and campground here and there. As for the civilian nuke bunkers? Neat idea! I'll look into adding something like that as well.

Updates might be a bit slow though. Again, I've been rather busy lately with school and such, but I'll see what I can do in my spare time!

Well, that would sort of throw a wrench in the current aesthetic of the map, but we'll see. Necessity is the mother of invention after all.

Also, working on the nav meshes now... and testing with Combine Hunters... currently sheiting pants. :csgohelmet:

reactor in the bunker thing and if turned off disables the lights and power in the map

and uhhh maybe because this is like a refugee camp some shantytowns?

some shantytowns or slums for the refugees would be cool, also some kind of fortifications or military outpost would really make the map more interesting and immersive
