Programming Problem
Because of cross Gen Evolution, I went through the prior gens to ad the rest of there family to complete a set without adding every pokemon from the previous gens.
for example
Palpitoad -} I went and got Poliwag and Poliwhirl
Pichu -} Pikachu and Raichu
So on and so forth

But when I went to set up a game Any ball that I removed from its cartridge to copy from/to wouldn't load with the setup and caused it to stop. making not only the set but every other coded aspect have to be done manually. any idea of how I could fix this?

P.S. this isn't for upload purpose just me and my steam friends.

Hi Lucy, I assume you went through the Pokémon containers before running the setup scripts? I imagine doing this would cause problems.

The Cross-Generation Evolutions would only exist if you incorporated all the generations (To use Pichu as an example) you'd need both Gen 1 AND Gen 2 in play. Dragging just Pichu into Gen 1 technically isn't in-line with the lore.

I'd recommend you:
1. Go through and sort out whatever combination of tokens you want
2. Save these bags/containers to your personal chest
3. Start a fresh game & setup as normal
4. Empty the Pokemon containers after setup
5. Fill them with your own "home-brew" collection

That should get you a working game with scripts, but your own collection of Pokémon (:
