Alterations/Extra options for blades
More options in the Tool menu to alter the blade's look

Rounded Tips
Simple option to change the pointed blades to the original trilogy round tips

Unstable Blade
I know someone had done unstable blades around 2015-16

Flickering
Option to add to all other option giving the blade more life rather than the static outer glow

SWTOR style
Takes small diagonal slits out of the bottom of the blade to avoid the effect clipping through parts of some hilts


Improvments

Multiple effects to make blade look less 2D
Hard to explain, but basically putting the same blade effect in the same place but adding copies rotated on that spot into a large circle. Got some pictures comparing a TF2 Hex and Rubat's saber to help understand: https://imgur.com/a/jiK30U8
