Rim of Madness - Werewolves
Need to Talk to mod makers about permission to write book.
I am writing a book about this mod, well not about, more along the lines of a story with this mod as a base concept. My book will give full credit of ideas to mod makers. Be aware I am only a teenager, but hope to publish this book someday. But before I continue on it i need permission. I know there are no copyright claims on mods, but modders tend to get angry if someone does something with their idea.

This "werewolf" setting is actually largely borrowed from a roleplaying series called "Werewolf: Apocalypse" -- be sure to give credit to that series if you write your book.

I own the 20th Anniversary edition of that, and yea it's... Alot of info to say the least.
Also, this puts the biggest grin on my face that I can't shake-off.

You don't have to give anyone permission. No one has "werewolves" trademarked.

Technically speaking, this werewolf lore is trademarked by White Wolf. (I know I'm necroposting, whatever.) If that doesn't seem like a big difference, ask Lakeshore Entertainment about that.[en.wikipedia.org]
