Btw can this method be used for other mods that don't work? Just paste them into the "custom" folder?
For your question, I have not tried that with other mods because they are not changing things like the stock menu or loading screens. Usually things like weapon skins and clothing work by themselves. But with mods that may require manual placement of files, I think it should also be placed in "custom" because in the end the mods have their own functions and should not interfere with each other. But I haven't run into that issue yet myself.
