generally that issue seems to happen due to steam workshop not mounting addon correctly. some people seemed to deal with that by disabling all other addons except for smh, or resubscribing to smh. although it's not certain it'll help

ah, good, i probably should put this in the FAQ as a possible solution to this issue

i think i've solved it.
i opened the console the "unbindall" with out the ( " )
go to options > keyboard > use defaults > apply > ok
then open the console again and type bind "x" +smh_menu

if it dosen't work
you may wanna click the problems icon in pause menu disable all addons that creates Lua Errors
if it doesn't work (yet again)uninstall the addons that creates the lua errors

i don't think unbindall would really do anything here to solve the problem. whole issue is mostly related to the fact that smh itself didn't get installed properly in the game. somehow disabling all addons and enabling them back up kind of helps
