Falling threw parented props?
If I parent a prop to another prop, i fall threw the prop that has been parented. Lets say i parent a metal plate to a window, it will work fine and if I stand on the window nothing bad happens. However, i stand on the metal plate i will stay on it for about a second the fall threw it like if I teleported threw it. This seems to not happen if im near the ground. PLEASE HELP / FIX :steamsad:

The point of parentingisthat it removes all physics from the prop. this includes collision detection. If you are familiar with the PAC 3 addon, you know you can place props onto your character. these props are parented to the entity that is next in the hierarchy. group entities are parented to the player and the models are parented to the group entity.

It's the same thing with this addon.

Hopefully this answers your question. I'll subscribe to this disscussion so that i can get back to you if your have further inquries. Have a great day!

What would be an alternative to this that would keep collisions? I need it for larger builds with wiremod and/or a lot of props, that have collisions. Currently, I set a large weight to a main prop and weld the others to it after lowering their weight significantly. This reduces the sag in my saved dupes, but some is still left, especially on the larger ones.
