Christmas Beta Release.
First off i wanna say Merry Christmas, i hope you get everything you wanted. Now onto the good stuff.

We've been working really hard on trying to out of the GCW version of Battlefront Commander, while we are still not ready for a full release yet on steam we are ready for the mod to be publicly tested.

The version of mod you will be downloading below is far from done but i would say is 78% complete in terms of content being coded back in from the main release, i have also disabled custom settings for all GC maps as it was bugging the game when i would start from tech level 3-5 and wouldn't trigger some units being replaced or removed altogeher,

1 planet GCW has been added with another faction to fight on the GC the Hutts,i am in the works to adding the Separatist Remnant and Clone Rebellion as factions that are holding Mustafar and Kamino, while 1 planet GW hasn't been added yet but it'll be there on release.

As for this i have re-enabled random events to the Empire and Rebels,this is fully working for the Rebels but hasn't been fully tested out for the Empire. This will be expanded upon in the future.

The Empire is about 98-99% done there maybe something missing that i didn't see that will shot that number down we'll see though, but as for buildable heroes Moff Gideon and Director Krennic are the 2 that's left to code ( Mara Jade will probably be moved to a buildable hero and one of the 2 above moved as major hero).

For the Rebels they are around 85-90% done while they do have most of everything you'll be wanting to use and play they are also missing heroes like Leia,Lando,Dash Rendar that will be a mix of buildable and major heroes.There is also a missions for you to make Hoth your secondary base ( do not capture this planet before hand it will bug the mission)while the planet is neutral the Empire can take it which sadly contradicts what the Rebel trooper says in the mission ( i'll probably lock the planet until the mission comes up so that doesn't happen).

The Mandalorians well these guys are 60-65% complete but do have most if not all of their land units (minus the LAAT,AT-TE and AT-RT they aren't in yet), as for space i didn't add back the sith empire ships and are looking for others that more match Mandalore design better, the story for them removing the ZC heroes is working. These guys are going to get a overhaul on the mando/death watch infantry as some point you can see that with the death watch basic infantry that was updated. The text for the Mando tech upgrades still has empire info in it (should be fixed before release)

Please if you find any bugs big or small post them in the bug-reporter and make it as detailed as you can ( photos and videos are welcome as well)

As a reminder there are still some text that is out of place or just not there that will be fixed before launch, same for icons i'm probably going to redo a lot of icons that are going outside the icon box.

So i really hope you read this and didn't just skip to this link otherwise you'll be reporting stuff i may have said above.

Make sure you open this RAR up and extract the Star_Wars_Battlefront_GCW inside to your Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods once you do that go to the Steam app and right click Empire at war Gold Pack and go to properties then at the bottom in General add this to the box MODPATH=Mods\Star_Wars_Battlefront_GCW and hit the X ( NOTE if you wanna play FOC with another mod or whatever you will need to delete that line before launching the game) THIS MOD WILL ONLY WORK FOR THE STEAM VERSION OF FOC.
