Idea for a new lost type
I just wanted to put this out there because I'm not a mod maker myself, but I really like the idea of new lost types to add some variance to the lost missions.

When I play a lot of lost missions, I tend to just go up on the second floor and put a soldier on the ladder or blow them up so the lost can't reach my soldiers, and on lost only maps it's really easy to camp ladders forver. So, I thought it'd be an intresting idea if there was a lost jumper, that could go up any surface like a MEC or the assassin, so your not invicible in those situations.

Are you thinking of adding some other Lost variations? Spitters, screamers, hunters, and proper chargers are common zombie tropes we could use. Spitters would shoot acid (cryssalids should spit/spill poison, anyways), hunters are invisible until 4-6 tles away and can jump, chargers would be runners that could break through walls to go after you screamers draw hordes early. The thing about this is that you may have to ask for collaboration from an enemy unit modder to create easily distiguiable Lost, such as Claus or Farkyrie.

Augh, I meant to say that I was not a modder, I'm an idiot that can't type. I've messed with the tools before for myself but I don't have the talent to make anything like that, I was just brainstorming an idea for something like that.

I am not sure if i want to make a new Lost type just for that, but i could try giving wallclimbing to the Lost Dashers. If that doesn't cause their animations to completely freak out, that would be an interesting thing for sure.

Lost Howlers are vanilla. They are the same thing as Lost Brutes.
Not sure what you are saying about crashes or what it has to do with Lost.

Lol. I thought you implemented an idea. That's what I get for using Lost Autofire... Any thoughts on any of my suggestions? I think my charger is the easiest ability to implement, just give it the Andromedon ability to do so.

In the update from yesterday i gave Lost Dashers the ability to climb walls, so ladders are no longer safe.

A lost that leaves a trail of posion as it moves could be interesting too

Maybe it should be it's own seperate mod, for people who want more threatening lost but not the added difficulty of ABA, or vice versa? But I do like the change of having to think more critically about where to put my soldiers on lost missions now

I tried using poison trails for Chryssalids in earlier versions of the mod and there are issues with enemies walking through them all the time. Not going to do those again.

Right now, i am satisfied with how the Lost are in my mod. Boomers existing and Dashers being able to climb shakes it up enough from vanilla to be a noticable improvement. It's likely going to stay like that for a while, i currently don't have plans to expand on the Lost further.

Only exception is the Puppeteer Sectoid, who will likely interact with the Lost in some way.
