CQUI compatibility files
It seems CQUI is supposed to have a similar functionality like this mod, however it never worked for me. Now, if you would like to use this mod together with CQUI, it is very simple.

The two files in this archive need to go in:

\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods\CQUI\Assets\Expansion2\CityBanners

If you do not have Gathering Storm but still would like to use this, you can write back here and I will provide additional files :)

I tried this and I just lost all my city banners entirely. I had to revert back. I wish this would work... (I have all DLC and expansions)

I did not work on newest DLC pass, I will do it once all are released.
