SoS torpedo and HEL
Does the coding allow to make HEL shoot down torpedoes in ship to ship combat or is it just incompatible?

er well its designed to track and shoot down any flying-overhead vanilla projectile class projectiles, so if they use custom projectile classes like CE, or they aren't fly-overhead, then nope

ah well, torp would ignore armor if it was an overhead projectile so its not working

Problem was there is barely no reason to make a HEL since there is a lack of shell to intercept even during sieges

not sure what you mean, unless you disabled mortars, or do you mean just in space in which case thats not really my problem since its a space mod

I have found little need for the HEL as I usually take out the enemy mortars with my Railguns before they get a shot off.

If my enemies had railguns, would the HEL work against those projectiles?

wouldn't, railgun projectiles are too fast for a HEL to lock on it even if it could, and enemies would need a fully charged PPC next to a power source for the railgun to function, not counting the long construction time

HEL would be usefull if siege cause mortars to be deployed around the map instead of one spot

Bit late but I found this cause I'm interested in making it work, where would I find the code for the HEL? does it have a target list like a filter?
