Mortar Shells to fast for the Hel
Im using a mod called "yayo's combat" and mortar shells move too fast for the Hel to react.
I have no clue how to mod but is there any way to speed up the hels targeting or reduce mortar shell speed?

once they lock on they track 1:1, when a shell is fired they start to aim, so the further away the easier it is to get a lock, you can upgrade the turret actuators with an upgrade project.

if thats not enough then you can search for <turretSpeed>240</turretSpeed> in the defs and up it
I bumped the turret speed up to 600 and now it actually has a chance to target and destroy the shell, thanks for the help!

I bumped it to the 10000 and nothing changed

i changed <turretSpeed>240</turretSpeed> to <turretSpeed>600</turretSpeed>
In which file can I find <turretSpeed>?
(the drive that you have steam installed on, probably C: ) Program Files (x86)>steamapps>workshop>content>294100>1127530465>1.1>Defs>ThingDefs_Buildings
I know this is already over, but actually when using yahos combad all you have to do is to reset the bullet speed to vanilla 100%. Its default on 300% meaning the mortar shells are 3 times as fast. Nothing to do with turret speed really.
