Cracked fuel rods?
What happens if I leave a cracked fuel rod in a reactor while it runs? It doesn't seem to be emitting radiation. I just fired up a Type V reactor and accidentally up-throttled too fast. It immediately went beyond the cooling capabilities of the single cooling tower I had hooked up, cracked a new fuel rod, and SCRAM'd itself.

I repaired the reactor and the control panel, and fired it back up. It seems to be running just fine with the cracked fuel rod, and my pawns aren't detecting any radiation inside the reactor chamber (although I'm using Androids from Android Tiers/AT++ so I'm not sure if they'd be equipped with portable radiation detectors like regular colonists would...). Is there any downside to just... running it with the cracked rod? Will it damage the reactor faster or cause power/heat fluctuations?

the fuel will just be a dead spot in the reactor, its best to eventually yank it out and reprocess it and replace it
