In my game, the class doesn't have the info panel for Bonds, Combat Intelligence and AP. I'm not sure if the class still has them or not.

I'm guessing this is a WotC feature? I honestly haven't gotten around to checking out everything new in the expansion; I'll have to look into it.

Thanks for the report.

I think there's a little section in the class data where you can determine if the soldier can have a bond and such.

You're right, it looks like just a couple of lines in the config file to enable bonds and AP gain on promotions. I've added those; please let me know if I've still missed something.

I am glad you still use my korean translation files.
But It is kind of early version. After that, I found several grammer errors and corrected it.
Can you update it plz?

@thunderbeast - Thanks, I think I've got them updated.

I'm experiencing a problem with Established Defences. Basicly when he fires the overwaches the game can't eave the slowmo cam a stays stuck in there.

Happened 3 or 4 times and always against a single enemy, if it is a pod it just skips the animations and fires all overwaches, if it is a single enemy it freezes

Hey there. I've been enjoying the class so far. I used it before WotC and was glad to see it ported over.

I was really happy that the new will system meant Shake it Off wasn't so hilariously outmatached by Flare, and finally grabbed it on one of my soldiers who had rolled a low will.

It didn't increase his will. It doesn't increase it on the avenger, it doesn't increase it in combat when looking at his stats, it doesn't increase it after a mission with the perk. I'm not sure it does anything at all.

I'm having an issues with ammo. It seems the class always ends with the amount of ammo that it finished with at the end of its last mission.

For example: If I have an soldier end the mission with 0 ammo in his weapon, he will start the next mission I send him on with 0 ammo.

@MigPost - Strange issue. I've had some issues with that before, but it's usually when the soldier is supposed to fire multiple overwatch shots. Is the enemy close enough to trigger Zone of Control; sometimes that can cause issues.

Ultimately, I'm not really doing anything different from the Guardian skill. The issue lies in the base game's visualization scripts. Depending on what's causing the issue in your case, I don't know if that's something I can fix.

@VDRawr - I see the issue. I hadn't even notice yet that the will system had changed in WotC. I'll look into it. As a point of interest, the will bonus does apply during the mission, but that doesn't affect anything regarding the new will mechanics on the strategy layer.

@The.Mad.Academic - Wow, that's interesting. Okay. I haven't noticed that issue yet, but I'll see if I can reproduce it.

I'm having difficulty narrowing down the cause of this, but I made an OW Infantryman and he's being very inconsistent about which weapon he uses. Sometimes rifle, sometimes pistol. He always uses the same one per round, but I can't figure how how it's choosing it. I wonder if the Xcom perks I gave him are influencing it.

Perks:
Opportunist, Zone of Control, Established Defenses

Xcom Perks:
Ever Vigilant, Covering Fire

At first I thought it was an ammo thing, but even with a full clip and only one Overwatch shot (Given by Ever Viligant) he'll use the pistol instead of the rifle.

Scratch that. He just use the pistol to shoot a MEC that moved, and then immediately used the rifle to shoot the MEC with established defences when he moved too close.
On the previous turn, he had shot once and then went into overwatch.

EDIT:
Reloading the exact same save.
Instead of shooting the MEC and going into overwatch (MEC was suppressing), I moved the soldier then went into overwatch.
He used the rifle to shoot the mec for the first movement. Killing it.
Then he used Pistol for Zone of Control
Then he used rifle again for a 2nd overwatch shot.

Trying a third time
Rifle for MEC movement. Doesn't kill it
Pistol for Zone of control on MEC movement
No 2nd OW shot on trooper
(In hindsight, I think both OW shots are going into the MEC movement, but I'm only graphically seeing one. Just noticed the two damage numbers floating. Both seem like rifle damage.)

EDIT 2:
Hm, just spent some time making him OW in lots of different ways. I can't find a pattern to his weapon usage, seems almost random.

@Dusky - Zone of Control gives the Infantry a free reaction fire shot at enemies moving or attacking at close range (within 4 or 5 tiles); could this be what you're seeing?
Dusky 9 Sep, 2017 @ 6:31pm
Is that exclusively with the pistol? As I'm certain I've seen him use the rifle for it. I've also seen him use the pistol for regular OW shots.

As I said, I'm really struggling to find any reliable pattern to explain usefully.

I'm not sure whether anybody else also have the same issue but i have multiple instances of infantry have zone of control and establised defense, it usually lead to the "overwatch sequence" to get stucked, partically if your infantry is concealed and then spring a surprise trap or when enemy reinforcement is directly beside your infantry, the overwatch sequence will get stucked and the slowmo will go on forever, partically if RNGESUS hates you and either misses or doesn't kill it.
