Welcome to my 3nd contest, after a bit of a hiatus...

The Contest:

Build and detail a dupe of my Airslide Hopper to look as cool as possible, then send me a dupe of it to check out!

After a certain ammount of time (Mar 10th) I will round up all the dupes of Airslide hoppers sent via Disord or Steam to me in PM, and test-them in game by the following scores:


Realisim: Are the details accurate? Does it match a prototype? (extra points if you can make it realistic AND not a direct copy of any real railroad)

Technical: Does it run well? Properly weighted? Does it have funky do-dads that do cool things? Does it have interesting features?

Aesthetic: Looks cool? Has some interesting details? Well textured and colored? Were you creative?

All hoppers submitted will be scored X/5 in every catergory by Me, and the top 3 highest cumulative scores will receive some choices from the rolling stock prize pool.


Some guidelines:

Don't post the link here, else tons of people will probably steal it

Instead, send the file to me in PM on Steam or Discord, and make a post on this page with some screenshots of it.

You can use any addon that most trainbuild servers have for detailing, as well as holograms, publically availible E2s, and really anything that isn't stolen, and I couldn't spawn on an average Trainbuild server. "Missing" stuff will probably dock you some points!

Scores will be hidden untill the contest closes.

Any airslides not submitted by the 10th of March will be ignored.


A section on how to find the dupe file of your airslide:

Go to the "Library" tab of Steam
Rightclick on Garry's Mod in the sidebar.
Go to Properties
Once in the properties window, go to Local files, then to "Browse local files"
From the file navigator, go to Garry's Mod/Data/Advdupe2/wherever you have your file stored from there.


The Rewards:

I can no longer fit all my rolling stock in 1 screenshot, just rest assured that I have over a hundred cars to choose from.

The winner will be given a choice of any 8 rolling stock from my collection, if the owners of said stock allow it.

Second and third place will receive 4 and 2 dupes respectively.

Disclaimer:

Dupes gained by this contest are still to be treated as PRIVATE. If you are found releasing one of these dupes, you will be disqualified from future contests.

You have from the time of posting (Feb 26th) to 2 weeks later (Mar 12th). The thread will be locked upon that deadline.
