I have tried out this mod and noticed a few ways it could be improved upon.

I love the concept, but the execution could be done a little better. One of the most glaring issues for me is the music choice the creator decided to utilize. The creator certainly went a bit far in deciding to use Electronic music where something like Orchestral or Symphonic would have worked best. It really kills the vibe and makes the skirmishes seem like a cringy, unprofessional 2009-esque montage video.

Aside from music choice, there are quite a few kinks to be worked out in the system itself. A couple of them that I have noticed are as follows. One of them would be that ships tend to warp in with a considerably long delay, which can really screw one over in the battlefield. Another issue would be ground combat, considering that the Basilisk is incredibly overpowered and that there are quite a few other issues to be worked out regarding unit animations and general skill and power balancing on land.

Moving on from what I dislike regarding the mod, I really enjoy the amount of detail that has been added to combat. Footsoldiers and fightercraft are much smaller than larger units such as capital ships and walkers, which adds a significant amount of realism to the scenario. Aside from being slightly overpowered, the new units are quite fascinating in concept and they look amazing. One of the greatest improvements I have seen with this mod would have to be the retexturing of laserfire to look more realistic and make battles and skirmishes look all the more epic.

Overall, there are some improvements that definitely need to be made, but there are also already some other improvements in place that I enjoy a lot. This mod has a ton of potential and I cannot wait to see what this mod will become someday.
