Expected F.A.Q.s and Compatibilty/Balancing Suggestions

Q: But this is not loreful! Blood Dragons would never be interested in holding territories
A: I know, and i somewhat agree with that, problem is that we have limitation and my modding skills and time are among them. We'll see, maybe after the game two release i will try something about that.

Q: Anything about the roster and the presence/absence of some units
A: There is no official separate and unique roster for the blood dragons (since they used standard vampires units), so many units are made up by myself, without exaggerating or making unloreful monstruosities. Many informations on their units were taken by different sources like the official army books, the Warhammer Wiki, stuff like "Night's Dark Master", "Warhammer Expansions: Special Characters", and the official army Books (i checked from info from the 5th to 8th edtions). You can consider this lore-adjacent, a term that means not much..but well. I plan to add more units and i of course consider any loreful suggestions about adding units.

Q: Why they don't have immune to vigour by default? They are vampires ecc.
A: I know, but there is a balance to consider, each LL as a red skill that focus on the vigour loss reducing (better than the bretonnian skill), i will no change that, the units are powerful enough.

Q: Why some of them have magical attacks? Do they not hate magic?
A: Correct, but magical attack means make more damage to "magical creature", so in a distorted sense it makes sense i think.


Q: Why is Abhorash holding a greatsword in one hand?
A: There is a problem with the splash damage, there is no 2handed weapon animation that have splash damage. That means that give Abhorash a 2h animation will hampered severly his effectiveness against both Lords and large units. I know there is the bretonnian mob animation with splash, but it doesn't look good enough.

Q: What are the Disciples? and why they look so different?
A: They are my most "made up" units. Basically there is a mention in the wiki of the first disciples of Abhorash, badasses even for a blood dragons. Since they are "elder" warriors/vampires i decide to give them a look of some older blood knights models from the Vampire Counts 6th Edition-->HERE[preview.ibb.co]

Q: Can you give them ranged units/ can you give the blood dragons units to the other factions?
A: No to both. Each of these request will brake the basic idea around this faction.

Q: Is this COMPATIBLE with [Insert-name-here] MOD?
A: As far as i can tell everything vanilla friendly will be compatible. Reskins works fine (except for the units listed in the features), magic mods and units pack will work. Others Crynsos Unlocker-dependent mod works fine. Bigger overhaul or battles overhaul could work but surely this mod will not be balanced for them at least, i will advise against using (e.g.) Radious or SFO with this, the units will NOT be balanced. Could be activated mid-campaign, but a fresh start is highly recommended.

Q: Can you make this COMPATIBLE with [Insert-name-here] MOD?
I cannot afford to make another version of the mod, but if anyone want to create a compatibility submod, is most welcome. Just tell me and i will add a link to it here.

Q: Infos regarding Knights of Irrana and Mallobaude's Personal Guard
A:
Knights of Irrana: These group of Estalian knights was turned into Blood Knights by their master, who decide to follow Abhorash's principles instead of that of Myrmidia. Given there is only a line on them i have to rely on unofficial sources. The starting point of my research on a suitable appearance for them was their name. They came from the Irrana Mountains, so i searched everything on them, even flora and fauna for possible shield patterns. The result was a unit with estalian concept inspired by Cataph's work, with some "vampirish" elements like heads and cloacks (which also give them a mountainous belonging together with the lances). For the shield pattern i got inspired by the colours of the Kingdom of Eragona, to which most parts of the mountains belong to, and by some faunal/architectural/religious/economic elements of those mountains.

Mallobaude's Personal Knights: A unit of Blood Knights from Mousillon, personal knights of the Duke Mallobaude. This unit is listed on the wiki as "Knights of the Black Grail" (not to be confused with the Black Grail Knights who were resurrected Grail Knights), but to avoid lore problems and redundancy with other mods i named them that way. There is a lot of confusion on them even in the sources, with some overlappings with the Knights of the Bloody Grail and the Black Grail Knights. For their appearance i got inspired by them being "mysterious", and by the story of Mallobaude, who decide to freak out when he was a questing knight. It's probably a very fragile lore for a unit, but i liked them, i did research on them and i have messed a lot to get those helmet under that hood :P
