It's an intermittent issue that I can't seem to peg down for some reason, because I don't have much to go on and the people who report this issue don't seem to post more information like the Operating System, their log file, and the list of mods.

Anyways, try this solution:

Unsubscribe to all of them, and then subscribe in this order:

1) Attachments
2) Assets
3) Main Module

I have this to after loading the game up after putting it down for a while. I'll let you know if doing what you suggested works.

Edit: It works properly now. I was also missing the attachments mod cause it probably didn't exist when i last played this game.

I had the same issue and when I looked at the soldiers in the loadout screen for some of them there was no weapon visible and the text:

ERROR! NONE HAS NO FRIENDLY NAME!

appeared. Does that help?

Oh those IW weapons were removed from the last major update. You'll have to start a new campaign to get rid of those.

Why would you remove weapons when some of us have long going campaigns that have been put down from before? Could it crash your game? Cause my game crashes now and I don't know if it's this or highlander. Or both..

I had this same issue a few months back, until today. I had tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to all the mods in different orders, but nothing worked.

But today I saw this thread and gave it another shot. Unsubscribed to all resistance firearms mods and then resubscribed in the following order:

-Attachments
-Assets
-Get a rifle grip - Animation fix
-Missing Packages Fix + Resource
-Main Module

Not sure how many of those are required, or if that's the best order, but it fixed the missing texture - neon purple/pink weapons glitch.

Playing the game on Linux, running natively (no proton/wine). I do have other mods installed.
