Every modification has bugs and "Make Peace, Not War" is no exception. If you stumble across any bugs, crashes or missing localisation, please write them down here. A savegame or screenshot are more helpful than a simple description of a bug and thus will lead to a quicker fix.


PLEASE ALWAYS ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS IN YOUR BUG REPORT:
  • Which country are you playing?
  • Are you in a faction? If yes, which position (leader/member) and how many other members
  • Who's the enemy? Is he in a faction? How many members if yes? Are both nations, who are the reason for the war (see war window) in a faction?
  • Were you using the dynamic peace chain or the ones triggered by the decisions? Please also specify which diplomatic action you used (peace dove, white flag, treaty)
  • Which options did you enable in the settings event chain?
  • Did the events fail altogether and never popped up or did they appear but fail to whitepeace?
  • Did the war start over a guaranteed nation?
  • How's the war called (-> war window) e.g. Italian-Greek War, German-Polish War...
  • Singleplayer/Multiplayer?
  • Are you using the versions for BICE or MD?

@Handsome Jack Apparently BICE uses another ideologies and laws/conscription laws. Since I'm not a user of BICE, can you tell me which ideologies/laws are different.
Good news, a compatibility patch is easy made.

In BICE are Communist, Socialist, Conservative, Liberalism, Monarchist, Fascist and Neutral.

And 20 conscription laws xD I dont think its that easy too patch, nevermind :) Thanks for the great mod anyway!

@Artur M. Yep, it's a bug. Especially in cases with the AI joining a faction, some participants are not invited to accept.
Were Italy and Hungary part of the Axis?

played a vanilla game, the mod doesnst really work... I'm able to do the government action, and all the things fire (are you sure you want to send) and (Peace Between United Kingdom and German Reich), but peace never comes, it's been a year. I'm running no other mods too. (Joined war due to Germany pressureing benelux) (as the UK, my alliance includes several random nations, axis is Ger and Ita)

I've offered peace like 20+ times and it pops up with the events saying "UK and Italy have declared peace" but we're still at war

@Sturzkampfflugzeug Der Luftwaffe You got there a multiple faction war, this always leads to issues. What's the name of your war with Germany?

@=WnA= Kagga I need more info. Factions? Who are you playing? If in faction, faction leader or simple member? What's the war called? How many members does each faction have?

In my own faction fighting against the Allies. I am Italy as the faction leader. Don't even remember what the war was called i just gave up, Allies has the usual amount with Democrat Germany and Swtizerland while my faction has 2. But legit the amount of times that peace was popping up and nothing was happening, peace would be declared and i'd annex the land i had taken but still be at war with the country and fighting

@=WnA= Kagga Look into your own war window. The name is always displayed at the top. Was the nation you first started your war against guaranteed and you later annexed them (they didn't join their allied faction?)

Not in game currently and the war started with me declaring war or guranteed Albania (Guranteed by Netherlands and France) so the whole damn Allies hopped into the war. but legit every ♥♥♥♥ said yes to peace and the event popped up

@=WnA= Kagga So the war started against a guaranteed Albania, which you probably tried to annex through focus, but HOL and FRA guaranteed them. I guess the war is now called "Italian-Albanian War".
Did you annex Albania via peace conference? If yes, you made a grave mistake, as the mod won't work here anymore.
See the description and read the paragraph about "Read this before playing".
The whitepeace command, the backbone of this mod, can only make peace between the two initial countries who started a war. There's nothing I can do in this case, unless Paradox fixes the command finally.
If you declare against Albania next time and anyone guarantees it, declare war against the nations guaranteeing it first, wait a few days and then DOW Albania. This is the only workaround for this case, sadly.

Other members of Comintern: Sinkiang, Latvia, Lithuania, and Thailand
Guaranteed: No

Additional Mods: RT56, Sabaton Soundtrack, Cosmetic Mods
Issue: In my first war against the USSR, I used a dynamic white peace to take Siberia. It was amazing, but I had a problem: my puppet China had gotten the occuppations of Sinkiang and Mongolia. Since Mongolia was not the war leader, and they didn't choose to do a separate peace, I had to justify against them specifically later. During the second war, they conceded to my occupation, and were annexed, however I could not send a demand to the USSR, despite selecting the option with all prerequisites complete. And when the Soviets sent me a peace offer, I accepted, and despite it even triggering the news event, it only made me owner of my occupied states, it didn't add a new truce.

@SmallLoan-1000000 I think I found the reason of your missing whitepeace. Nevertheless, can you tell me how the war is called (e.g. Japanese-Soviet War). Also you said you annexed Mongolia during the second war. How? Via the events of this mod? Or were they somehow kicked out of the Comintern and later guaranteed? I guess the first, which is more logical.

you said you could help me better here so here it is
its a good mod but it works a bit clunky if you know what i mean, what happens in my game was that i had war with italy and he constantly asked for peace and once i accepted it and it said i had peace, but i didn´t, so after that is says the event ´´germany and italy have peace´´ but after that italy still asked for peace, what is the reason for this. i have no other mod enabled
