I have also built the text framework for the new mod. Interestingly, we will be able to decide quotes in the following areas:
1) Solo Operative - Class & Faction Specific
2) Solo Operative - Neutral & Gender Specific
3) Memorial Quotes
4) Deadly Duo's & Bondmates
5) Squad Quotes & General Propaganda
6) Captured / Chosen Quotes
Sadly only one of those is really usable. But they still raise a smile.
If SPARK classes get one then the heavy metal one could work.
Some other ideas:
"XCOM: Always outnumbered, never outgunned" (tip of the hat to The Prodigy)
Historical ones which could work:
Winston Churchill
We sleep safely at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would harm us.
George Patton
Live for something rather than die for nothing.
Heraclitus
Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.
(bit long but tingly)
George S. Patton Jr.
Lead me, follow me, or get the hell out of my way.
Norman Schwarzkopf
The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it.
The Duke of Wellington
I don't know what effect these men will have upon the enemy, but, by God, they terrify me.
Commander Oliver Hazard Perry
We have met the enemy and they are ours.
Martian Manhunter
The future is worth it. All the pain. All the tears. The future is worth the fight.
Um...
A hero is someone who steps up when everyone else backs down
George Orwell
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Ferdinand Foch
My centre is giving way, my right is in retreat, situation excellent. I attack.
Ambrose Redmoon
Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.
Amelia Earhart
Courage is the price that Life exacts for granting peace.
Aristotle
We make war that we may live in peace.
instructions on U.S. rocket launcher
Aim towards enemy.
Colonel "Chesty" Puller
They’re on our left. They’re on our right. They’re in front of us, they’re behind us. They can’t get away this time
Charles M. Grist
Whatever the challenge, never quit, never give up, never surrender.
Dunno, some of those? Maybe?
Im up to about 150 quotes already, I delved deep into Lexicanum.com yesterday for useful 40k quotes e.g.
"Carry XCOM as your torch. With it destroy the shadows."
"XCOM Protects."
"Pure in body, pure in heart."
"Vengeance her sword. Hatred her shield. Loyalty her armor."
Now I'm starting on generic sci-fi propaganda.
[X2Photobooth] as a class is actually duplicated twice within XComGame.int
It's first used mid-way for array strings targeted to add filters, then again in the post-game text section which adds the photobooth quotes.
This seems like an error, as my lines would be added to the first [X2Photobooth] section and thus not read by the game in the correct order.
Furthermore if you splice the new lines directly into the vanilla file in the correct section, it works perfectly in-game, but photobooth refuses to accept a mod input.

m_arrSquadALines[31]="ADVENT: Cold winds are rising."
