XCOM 2
Unrestricted Customization - Wotc
Impressive, But Overcomplicated
This is quite the mod I have to admit, quite impressive, but needless to say, its quite overly complicated, for me atleast.

If you will allow me to, I'll adress them here, but if you are able to help me solve them, then that will be wonderful. But please feel free to adress them in any matter you wish, don't be discouraged by my own stupidity.

So here goes:

Scrolling: So right off the bat, the fact that you are able to physically move the soliders, away from the screen (and into the air) feels extremely game-breaking, if there is a way to trun that off or remove it, I'll be greatful. (I'm so used to being able to just trun my soliders)

Too Much UI/Edit: I'm the type of person, who enjoys less UI in your face, thats outside of UIs or icons, in terms of both the Crh-Pool and in-game, it feels that you are given way too much, if this was JUST in the Crh-Pool, then I can get buy it, but in-game as well, feels odd.

Some Stricted Customizationings Are Needed: Now keep in mind, I enjoy able to pick any power armor or plated armor, for any of my soliders, (reguadless of resreach). Includeing being able to get Cittzen clothing. However when it boils down to the "Heros" units, or my nomrao soliders being able to wear their armor, feels gtlichty.

If there is a way to tone down, how much they can be used (Example: Non-Hero units can't use Hero armor), then that be handy, as it can break their rigs and bones (Haveing floating hands or half of a reaper).

So just my 3 issues with the mod I'm haveing, while its great that I can freely use, Power Armor/Plated and Nomral (And Cittzen clothing) for all soliders, I am not a huge fan of the fact you can have almost any type of armor, and make it look broken or gtliched out.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I wanted to share my feelings about the mod and hopefully try to make the mod more basic for my stupid mind.

Thanks for your feedback.

For the camera zoom etc. it's still WIP.
Moving the camera caused issue since the GUI is in 3D, so for now it moves the soldier instead.
(edit: plus this feature will probably be moved into a separate mod eventially).

Concerning the GUI bloat, versions prior to v2.12 used to have only 3-4 checkboxes ("show all tech levels" ; "show all genders" ; etc.).
But these loose filters made the list grow considerably bigger, and it could be painful to find something specific in a big list, espetially since the game often freezes to load the part under the cursor (for preview).

I might hide the edit button however (It's mostly there to help me and other modders to categorize body parts).

For the hero parts restriction, I suppose you are talking about randomization ? (Otherwise soldiers should never get parts from other character type on their own)

On top of all this, the list of "items" you can pick and swtich around is way to big, I can understand wanting each part from, each armor set (Like an Power armor, arm or leg) but with such amount parts, it can get bloaty.

So, I suggest, rather then haveing each one, for each body part, only have Chest/Legs/Arms. Rather then what we have now (shuolder peice, leg peice, arm peice,. chest peice, chest 2 peice, etc)

There's persistent settings (in randomization->options) to set the draw chance for non-essential parts (except forearms, I forgot).

- AFAIK there's no other mod to import outfit only from CharPool (without replacing face/race/names/etc.).
- Copy/Paste is to transfert outfit from an armor to another when upgrading armors.

(Image 3)
- Solders don't have any armor in character pool, so the list shows everything by default, Use filters if you are looking for something specific.
- Both genders are never shown by default.

(Image 4)
- Some torsos already have legs/arms, so invisible legs/arms are required to avoid clipping issue due to 4 legged/handed soldiers.
- Invisible torso was a request : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1150571114

(image 7) It's sometimes acceptable, like with Icarus Armor : https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/884258877076857490/C8880CC74E2B6550521D470414AE86B2619FE7C4/ and probably some modded armors.

(Image 2)(image 5)(image 6)(image 8)(Last Image) If you don't need a feature, just don't use it...
I agree with most of Psi's concerns, looking forward to having the scrolling optionally removed, if you'd be so kind.
