Tank research tree does not reveal the amount of Engine you need for each tank and production screen is messed
Engine requirements for tank are a mystery.

Thats because its just empty chassis. Engine cost can be seen in engines research.

You are correct. I did not write this well. My point was that with the system, you do not know the amount of Engine or Artillery. BICE created this system, so maybe they should make it so that chassis already include a gun and an engine so that you can see up front, what it involves.
And when you produce the tanks (not an empty chassis) it still does not identify how much Engine when you hover over the tank icon. You only know how much Engine (in total) by moving to the right which includes the TOTAL amounts of resources.

In your production tab when you select to produce a new tank it tells you. It should be like 4 tank, 2 artillery, and 2 engine but varies depending on the quality of vehicle.
