Game crashing when zooming into units

Whenever I zoom into the eastern front and the 3d units pop up, my game crashes. Disabling 3d units fixes this, but micro-ing is a pain without being able to view the 3d units and which directions they are going.

Looking into the error files yielded multiple lines of code of mesh not being found, example: Couldn't find mesh "ENG_paratrooper_rifle_mesh" (or ENG_paratrooper_rifle_mesh is not of 'pdxmesh' type) [ENG_paratrooper_entity]

Fixes that I have tried are: Reinstalling the game, unsubscribing and re-subscribing both BlackICE and BlackICE GFX, verifying integrity of game files, and playing on different betas (grandest lan, no beta, open beta)

Any help will be greatly appreciated

What mods do you have?

What do you mean by "BlackICE and BlackICE historical immersion"? There is this one which I guess is the second one you list and there is the "BlackIce Event: GFX" mod, is that the first one? You shouldn't have anything else.

I have a similar problem, my game crashes in November/ December 1941 on the Soviet front when I zoom in to it. But before it didnt crash or didnt even lag.

Yes, those 2 mods are all I have
