E.g., I think, the USSR KV-1 chassis is a 1939 research but the KV-1 historical model requires tank radios which is a 1940 research. You either need to research ahead or delay KV-1 production.
Also, having access to the academy spirits can be a boost to some nations, eg, USSR in offsetting the purge penalties. Also, without them countries that can send volunteers to Spain may have difficulty using the army XP gained from that.
La Resistance is a bit mixed. You can still have Armoured Cars without it. The Spanish Civil War doesn't get the changes (good or bad) from it. Spying actions are more expensive than in vanilla. You get more spies and can use them for more networks. Intel though is quite nice as is code-breaking.
Have either not played with or not played without the others so can't comment.
I assume ones that basically do focus trees (such as Battle of Bospurous) are redundant.
Thanks for the reply. I added La Res and No Step Back to the list. I guess what I'm trying to look for are the mods that complete Paradox's incomplete release that add QoL without breaking Black Ice.
