Report a translation problem
Some issues are already known (like the issue with the transport mission which is caused by an error with scripts introduced in the last patch from Petroglyph) but we will look into the rest!
Merry Christmas!
When playing the GC as Ancients there are two bugs:
first when i put the game on pause i still receive a steady trickle of credits, and second, after every space battle over taranis the space station dissapears, even if it takes no damage in battle
Thanks for your feedback!
The first thing you report is not a bug but a measure to check if our scripts are working or not in the background. Once we move the GC to the stable version we will deactivate this.
We will look into the disapearing station.
Can you please have a look at the versions.txt inside the mod folder and check if it's 1.9.8? If not you would need to update to get the latest fixes on that matter.
Fixed with the lastest update:)
I discovered few minor bugs and 1 critical bug even.
Wraith:
1. When the Ancients recapture the Planet Taranis after you've unlocked the destroyer the objective window has only the word "Missing" as headline. The story texts itself are still listed and work fine within the objectives story menu.
2. When unlocking the heavy claw fighters you get a hero unit at some point called "Commando". It would seem that said unit is invincible. I noticed it when attacking Orakis and lost my whole fleet including all hero units except the Commando. At that point I was just watching 30 Jumper squads and Auroras firing at that unit but it simply wouldn't die. So as I lost and didn't save the game once I couldn't finish the GC. Got to restart from scratch. I was playing at medium difficulty.
3. Certain game play concern: When playing the Mission with the Asgard their ships were way to close to their hyperspace jump point. That at least was my impression. Not one of my cruisers could caught up with it in due time and my numerous anti shield bomber squads couldn't kill their shields in time before they managed to jump out. I'm uncertain whether that is intended or not but I suggest to place their ships a little bit further away of their rally point aka escape point.
4. During my playthrough I noticed "The final line of defense" objective popping up. Informing me about the fact that I should head over to Arthos in order to destroy a Satellite so that the Lanteans would be blind when I come for them. By the time that message popped up I already had Arthos captured and the only planets left under Lantean control were Orakis and Lantea itself. You should possibly add some sort of condition for that circumstance that instead of getting this message you get another one. Informing you about the destruction of said Satellite even if you didn't get the objective beforehand.
EDIT: In my second playthrough I played on easy this time. And this time the "commando" unit wasn't invincible. Not sure if it's a bug related to the difficulty setting or not. But I thought you should know.
The Athos Satellite mission is indeed a problem. You can't engage something if it already belongs to you. A condition for that is strongly advised. Or lock down the planet till the event occurs.
1.) Gameplay related observation: During the evac mission where you fight against the City ship Troy the AI can retreat thus somewhat ruining the mission. Possibly forbid the AI any retreats when it fights with the City ship over Gonta.
that was among the most useful feedback we got in while, thank you very much!
1. Thanks, we have identified the missing string. It will be added with the next patch :)
2. I cannot find anything wrong with the Commando, in my tests it worked (and died) without any issues. I guess it was a one-time engine quirk.
3. That's actually a design choice: You are not meant to stop the Vanir unless you get extremely lucky. This way, they can return in the GC later on, making it more fun :)
4. / 1) You are completely right about these points. We will investigate this further.
But like back then it would be as a freelancer only, conducting my reports in my spare time.
I send you a friend request to discuss the details. :)
