New Lord effect game

My buddy and I are wanting to start a new campaign but with the new lord this week will it not be playable?

SFO will prob be incompatible with new game version and will need to be updated. From what I can tell it's anywhere from upward of 2 weeks but you can track his progress on his twitter once the updating starts(link on mod page).
