Cavalry "Beta" Update & SFO's Changes
I noticed in the Last Kiss SFO Changelog that SFO was trying to fix some issues with cavalry units, but ever since the cavalry beta update from CA, they haven't been able to do so.

I wasn't aware that there were still major issues with them, even after the official fixes implemented by Creative Assembly. Because I've just recently began a new Bretonnia Campaign, which is a cav-heavy faction, I'm hoping someone could tell me what exactly were the issues present with such units. That way, I can play out my battles with those facts in mind.

Shock cavalry is uless after CA changes. Mods cant fix it.

Oh wow, I had no idea. How did the CA changes ruin shock cavalry? Did it remove the impact damage or mess with the charge bonuses? I assumed that the "entities won't charge if friendly is in front" change was only a good thing.

There is no impact damage at all anymore.

What if one uses the 1.12.0 patch (the one before the cavalry beta), picking it through the steam beta patch feature, will the mod be compatible/balanced for that old patch?
