Sartosa, Depth Guard etc
Sartosa is just overpowered. The Depth Guard is just hilarious op. My fully exp imperial foot cant even handle em. and the imperial foot just dies like flies, idk why

theyre being destroyed by one charge from every unit. And lets talk about "sartosa pirate mercenaries"! They have 50 armor, high range damage, high meele damage and high meele attack and defence. Not balanced at all.

Depth Guard units will chew through most any low-mid tier infantry, but they'll die easily to ranged armour-piercing units and/or artillery.
The problem of course is that the VP also have armour-piercing ranged units and artillery + things such as the prometheans to scatter a defensive line.

If you can, use spells that slow their movement speed or prevent movement altogether along with some sort of AP ranged units of your own. If you don't have such ranged units, use a mix of strong low-unit count special infantry to bog them down while you target the vampires themselves*.

*Which you should be doing regardless because just like the Vampire Counts their armies melt once the leaders are dead.

Edit: The Imperial Foot unit is basically a powered up version of the normal swordsmen unit, you shouldn't expect them to do much beyond what that unit could do. They'll do it better, but they're still basic infantry in a faction that relies on artillery and ranged.

Versus Vampires you need to assassinate their lords in battle. your units are just fodder to hold the line. you should have a way to deal with the vampire lord
