AI has serious problems evaluating enemy forces before attack (suicide attacks)
Hey guys i just started a new campaign as von carstein. Ive seen every neighbor doing suicide attacks. The AI is trying to capture enemy provinces with not even close to enough troops. It keeps doing it for many turns and therefor essentially destroying itself. I didnt experience that kind of AI behaviour in the Version from something like 25.03.2019. Its something new...

anyone else seen that?

I haven't seen anything like that, yet, no.

I've actually had to chase down a couple of armies who knew they were no match for me, and I've had enemies who were about to attack one of my cities with a larger force then run away once I reinforced it with an army and turned the tables. I haven't noticed anything else like this that just stuck out like a sore thumb so I'm guessing you may have a conflicting mod or a corrupted download or something? The Radious mods touch virtually every single aspect of the game to some degree or another, so it's not a good idea to use a lot of mods with them unless they are officially approved submods, or purely standalone singular affect mods such as "Abandon Region" and "Custom Lord Creation".

What other mods, if any, are you running with it? If you have anything that is editing AI behavior, siege, or battle mechanics, or anything like that, then those could easily be causing this to happen.

Its not Radious related. Actually there is a ton of topics about this since the last update. In general ist about the patch changing the Autobalance buffs for the AI. It just cant handle it.
