I am aware that each provience of the Empire equips there state troops differently in accordance to their economic power. My question relates to veteran state troops and how they are currently presented. Standard veteran troops have basic armour which relates to what most proviences can afford. However, a provience like Reikland could afford to properly outfit a greater part of its troops. In Warhammer, Mark of Chaos there is good representation of well armed, battle hardened troops. Something which is already included in your loading screen art.
There are armoured swordsmen and spearmen ingame and perhaps that reflects troops being better equipped. As for Reikland is it possible that veteran troops be it swordsmen, spearmen,
halberds and handgunners are rewarded with being better equiped/armoured. I would be interested to hear your thoughts and how it actually fits into lore.
