Unfair event?
Playing as a Mongol I kept being approached by a woman asking for directions to Istanbul. The options it gave me for replying were very unclear and now I find out 50 days into my game that I have been raping them, and now an event happens where an army comes out of nowhere and instantly kills me, taking absolutely everything and setting all my skills back, completely ruining the character. Don't you think this is a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? There was no warning there would be any consequences to this and now my game is ruined and my time is wasted.
Can anyone tell me a way around this? My save is right before the army attacks me so there is no way to avoid this and my game seems to be over.

I was really having a good time with this mod too but now it seems it's unplayable.

Ok I got around it by changing battle size to minimum at 30. Going into the battle caused some major problems with the code and the battle ended after a long stream of error reports with me victorious and able to continue my game. I would suggest taking this feature out altogether or at least provide some warning to the player that their game will be ruined if they click either of these poorly translated options when a woman asks for directions.

That "feature" makes no sense whatsoever, the english translation is effectively nonsensical. The options given make no sense. I held off on playing this mod because of this, and some of the companions still mention vanilla homelands. What of the 3 options do you choose in order to prevent this? Having played up to 30 M&B mods, I know which ones appear to be rushed into production. It is a great mod, but i wouldn't put hours into it currently.

This was an excellent mod that needed a few bug fixes. It is now unfortunately badly broken.

If you really want to progress past that battle, turn on cheats and just kill the enemy army with the command. Then just move on.

Guys, it's a reference to an old Turkish movie, it is really ridiculous but yeah, it's happening. No need to translate, let me explain the replies: First and second options decreases your honour. First one increases your party's morale, second one increases your dexterity, and last one gives you honour and some renown.

Turn on cheats teleport away then turn cheats of. Or turn down the army size to 30 rather than 150!!!

ctrl alt f4 will knock out all your enemies if you have cheats turned on.

Yeah, this mod has some unfair things like that mercenary army.That lord is almost impossible to kill.It's a great mod actually, but need some fixes.
Btw when i charge to that lord, i am all alone.My army isn't coming to battle.This should be fixed.

Another event is the Ransom Brokers event, where you're randomly called to an interior to pay 4K to a group of brokers or else they'll pile on you and mug you with sledgehammers, then take equipment and money from you if you die. Supposedly I think this happens once every two weeks once you join the "slavers guild".

Not only do you have to pay an entrance fee to be able to sell prisoners at the brokers, you also have to contend with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's pretty jarring.
