idk why it's so hard for subscribers to post bugs they have here...

Because the feature doesn't standout, and people TL;DR everything. I do have a bug with DS, where for some reason trying to use the elevator kills Sim Speed, and becomes non-functional while on clientside functions 100% A-OK. You can open door, and close it, but clicking floors does nothing, and the numbers do not light up yellow (only the ring)

killing sim speed currently has to do with physics, as we on hydro survival are having a wonderful time with terrible sim speed due to physics.
Of which will hopefully be fixed tomorrow or on next major patch

And as for the non-functional buttons, they should be fixed soon. :)

Elevator sometimes hangs between floors. Have to restart.

The bug i have is that once in a blue moon i have death elevators. and i am using the 5 m/s version so not to sure on that one.

also im getting a constant warning on the bottom of my HUD telling me i have to use the bottom elevator part first which i have and they all work fine?

awny one else getting that? and can i turn it off?

@gary49burns, Does it just stop between floors or it goes up and down but never stopping on a floor?

@Wing_Nut, What do you mean by death elevators? Can you be a little more specific what exactly happens? As for your warning, please check if you've accidentally placed another Elevator bock somewhere while you were building. The same thing was happening to another person and he found he had placed a block underneath his elevator while building it. Removing it also removed the warning.

Apparently I had an elevator block suddenly explode. Luckily I'm in creative mode. It worked fine when I first built it, used it about 5 or 6 times to make sure. Went back to building, and eventually I noticed the bottom of the elevator was missing, and the surrounding area was shredded.

As far as I can tell, there was no discernable cause for it to explode. I actually didn't even hear it, so I don't know exactly when it happened. I'll try and replicate it if I can, to see if I can find exactly what caused it.

1. For me if i grind one block away the rest floats away with full speed in all directions.
2. Crashes the Server for me when i use the bottom floor. After that i cant move or build anymore.
Vicizlat  [developer] 27 Oct, 2017 @ 3:54pm
Does it matter which block you grind?

Also now there is a log for the mod. It is located in %AppData%\SpaceEngineers\Storage\... one of the folders should end with "MultifloorElevator"

Can you please send that to me? Thanks!

For me it crashes the Server when i complete the elevator now. Bottom Ele -> Eel -> Top Ele After the top Elevator was placed it crushes the Server. Permanently move back to a position and can't built or grind. In the log is not much:

[21:01:24:6747] Register handlers
[21:01:24:6752] Multifloor elevators initialized.
[21:17:30:9338] Sending message to server: ElevatorStateRequest
[21:18:45:1302] Sending message to server: FloorRequest

OK, that's very useful, I hope. :)
And yeah, I see the log is not very useful. It was added by rexxar and I was hoping for a little more than what it is.

And BTW it can be every Block... The rest fly away... Also in SP a little bit
Vicizlat  [developer] 28 Oct, 2017 @ 2:15pm
I have encountered the bug where if you remove a segment of the elevator the rest of the elevator flies off. I have to say, I've never experienced anything like this before. I am looking into possible causes for it to try and fix it.

The strange thing is, this problem only happens when the section that flies off is not supported by other blocks. As long as both sections above and below the block you are removing remain a part of the same grid there should be no problems.
