That dps numbers sometimes shows outta frame (sorry for bad english)

As others are, I'm having issues with the stats display as well, and I think the culprit is "Manufactuer's Touch."

I'm using the following weapon mods, all which add weapon generation.

Manufactuer's Touch
Borderlands Random-Gen Weapons
Tactical Weapons
Grand Armory
Weapon Megapack
All "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" Weapons

With mod

The reason I think it's MT is because I think it's interfering with tooltips. MT adds "EPS" as well as it's own changes to tooltips to seemingly every firearm in your game, modded or unmodded. I think. As a result, the messy stats shows for every gun when this mod is installed together with MT. It disappears when this mod is uninstalled.

The picture I have above is highlighting the Tungsten Assault Rifle in the crafting table, where the tooltip is ok. But the tooltip for the item itself once crafted, has overlapping stats. It should be noted that, at least last I checked, this assault rifle as well as the other guns are not available in vanilla Starbound and are most likely added from the frequently updated Frackin Universe. (Too many patch notes to check if FU added this and I don't see this as part of MT in the description.)

At the time I first noticed these new craftable guns I only had MT installed, (as far as weapon gen mods go) and even then they weren't there when MT first came out. Not sure if this has relevance to the issue but considering the mod says it's compatible with FU and these weapons' tooltips are bugged too, figured I mention it just in case it really isn't MT for those specific guns.

It should also be noted from MT's page in the description:

"This mod is incompatible with any mod that does changes the default weapon build scripts, as well as any mod that changes the weapon tooltip UI.

This collision is most notable in Tripod's mod, Weapon Stats, which will result in weapons not spawning with a manufacturer and cause weird overlapping in the UI. However, this mod has its own unique tooltip, which should help you deal with this penalty."


I can confirm that the same or similar display error for tooltips happens with MT and Weapon Stats as this mod, as I used to use Weapon Stats before until I got MT and noticed the overlapping. Perhaps there is change with tooltips in this mod that is interfering?

Also in a pinned thread, someone mentioned this mod wasn't compatible, but this is more than likely not the new 1.3 version as it's dated back in December. Apparently there was a patch to download to fix it but it wasn't enough?:

I've gotten reports that there were UI issues between the two, and added a patch in the options zip to fix that, but since it sounds like there are more issues than just that, I'll have the check it out then. Thanks for the report.

The Weapon Reinforce mod is never mentioned again.

What cause this problem
The problem is this mod have "dps" tooltip that add to all weapon type "gun" that mean all of the weapon that have "gun" type have the same tooltip in the same place so it can't be overlapping and that how I place "dps" in the same place.

But MT they are bad at coding or something IDK so they add new guns with new tooltips but still using "gun" type which make it overlapping.

How to slove this problem?
Tell them that they should change all of their guns that have new tooltips from "gun" type to "mtgun" type or other type name since "gun2" FU already use.

Put "Weapon Reinforcer Temporary FIX" on top of this mod and all works fine... guy disabled one line of code from what i've seen.
If priority/order will mix, then if author don't react i will make proper standalone update.
It appears that the DPS display may be causing a rather serious bug. For whatever reason, it seems to be breaking the randomly assembled guns of the base game so that they can't actually fire. Someone noted the same issue with the weapon DPS mod. Fortunately it doesn't break any crafted guns so it's not game-breaking but it DOES mean that any enemy armed with randomly assembled guns is completely incapable of harming you. Another user who noted this bug thought that it might be due to a conflict with Frackin Universe, so it may be that the mod is fine on its own.
