Mod Compatibility Lists and Developer's Note
I will no longer be actively attempting to make Ultimate Chaos compatible with any specific mod, however it will continue to be written with maximum compatibility in mind and that's as far as I'm taking it. Other mod authors have taken this attitude and unfortunately I must now do the same or risk going insane.

********ULTIMATE CHAOS WILL ALWAYS BE BALANCED AGAINST THE VANILLA GAME AND NOT ANY MOD IN PARTICULAR*************
I have no plans to release sub versions of Ultimate Chaos to make it balanced for X or Y mod so please stop asking!
There are so many, many reasons as to why and I'm tired of repeating them all.

I will no longer be responding personally to comments posted about mod compatibility and so am going to leave it to you guys as the community to inform and help people with this issue.
This discussion will stay open so you can help each other with what mods work and what don't and how to resolve compatibility conflicts with your favourite mods.

I would also ask at this time for people to please not republish Ultimate Chaos and divide the community. Thank you.

I'm going to compile a list of mods (the popular ones) That I know work. Then you guys can change/add/edit that list to show other people waht works and what dosnt.

FULLY COMPATIBLE MODS:
Camera Mods
Mods that boost research.
Conquer Anywhere\Diplomacy mods (Only works with factions other than chaos)
Map mods
Tax mods
Ai boosting mods

That won't be happening because if you follow Steel Faith for Wh 1, you'll realise it'l grow into a full game overhaul and theres much much more to the UC mod than a unit pack. There will be simply hundreads and hundreds of clashes.

You can't see most of the UC content yet because most of it is for campaigns, and even though the code is there chaos isnt playable in campaigns yet, you'll see that and most of what UC does when mortal empires releases.

The Crynsos unlocker just became incompatable which is a shame this plus Crynsos Cataph and Mixxu gave me the fleshed out warhammer world I was looking for. Not your fault but I cant even figure whats incompatible especially since they worked together in game 1.

That would be awesome! he does a great job putting LLs where they go and making the world feel unique and you make Chaos actually cool like they shouldve been its too hard to choose lol

How to get it to work:
Both mods use
Faction_Agent_permitted_subtypes_tables
data_

delete that table from ultimate chaos and save it as a different name.

Open the table in Crynoses faction unlocker and delete the following entires:

wh_main_chs_chaos:

chs_sorcerer_lord_death
chs_sorcerer_lord_fire
chs_sorcerer_lord_metal
dlc07_chs_sorcerer_lord_shadow


chs_chaos_sorcerer_death
chs_chaos_sorcerer_fire
chs_chaos_sorcerer_metal
dlc07_chs_chaos_sorcerer_shadow

Save as different name.
Done.


If you don't delete those entires chaos will have access to the vanilla chaos lords and wizards, however you will note that they arnt ultimate chaosifised, have various glitches and problems and arnt intended to be used in the mod's design.

If someone can be bothered to repurpose those lords and wizards into the UC undivided versions without overriding any core data tables then i'll implement that into it and remove the data core. But it's a lot of work, very dull and frankly I have no intrest whatsoever in doing it.

So running botht he mods worked fine... BUT! The Technology tree overlapped, which is the only think that helps those specific units in both UC and SFO2. I've been having a growing interest in modding myself and may just do a compatibility patch to allow non overlapping technologies.

Otherwise, bluidings and unit stat changes dont affect campaign as much as you think it does.
