Hello everyone. (sorry for my English)

I was trying to create a mod for my campaign of Start position Lord legendary since there is not one in the workshop that does just this without more aggregates, but I lack experience in creating mods.

My idea is that:
Azhag start at Karak Ungor
Balthasar in Wissenland
Heinrich in Mousillon
Ungrim in Karak Kadrin
Khazrak and Morghur exchange positions

Basically a part of the Crynsos mod

The first thing I tried was to download the PFM and with the opening of the Crynsos' Faction Unlocker + mod and remove some parts until I found what I wanted, but I was surprised to see how big this mod is, I just did not know what to move (I had previously cut parts of mods for personal use according to what I wanted but they were much smaller and simple mods, but this is very advanced by what I see)

The second thing I tried was to download the tools of mod of total war, and read some tutorials, and I start to create the mod from scratch, but I got lost in the tables

So I ask for help from someone who knows the subject so he can guide me on this.

Possibly is very simple but all this is new for my S: I would greatly appreciate your help

That is not something which you can just cut out of my mod as it is defined purely by the startpos and thus bunched up with tons of other things into one file that you can't really edit.

I can help you more with this if you contact me on Discord about it so I can give you proper answers.

Hey Crynsos, love your work! I've been wondering, is it possible or how insanely difficult would it be for me to get Grimgor to start at Karak Ungor? I would keep the mod otherwise pretty much unchanged; ofc would have to give Black Crag to them crimson teefs, probably would keep Azhag at Ungor too since Troll Country would be a bit tricky. I'm just so utterly bored of the starting setup in the badlands and Azhag just doesn't tickle me brain like Grimgor. Plus lore, mostly.

Actually not all that hard anymore with the scripts we have available nowadays. Azhag being in a separate faction is still a bit problematic if you don't want to confederate him (or if you just want to spawn him and not care about missing out on his quest items), but the core behind thes changes is not so hard anymore with a bit of scripting.

Ok, thanks! I'm just looking into your scripts for the Karak Eight Peaks start mod, I guess I'd have to do something similar? Can I ask, where did you call the function export_helpers___queek_karak_eight_peaks? I can't seem to find the function call... Or is it called in this mod?

Edit: checking the scripts of this mod too, now :) who knows, might even do this if I get it and get excited enough!

Basically all of the commands that you would need are already present in the Unlocker specific scripts.

export_helpers are self-registering and self-called functions and thus very useful as they do not have to rely on any other vanilla scripts.
